Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) is an empowering, activities-based, skill development intervention focused on reducing negative behaviors symptomatic of mental health diagnoses. CCCS's BHIS specialists work hand-in-hand with children, families, and their therapists, to address particular problematic behaviors - promoting healthier options for children and families.
Typical BHIS skills include, but are not limited to:
Communication skills, decision making, healthy boundaries, anger management, emotional identification and management, impulse control, following directions, coping skills, organizational skills and conflict resolution.
