Adam Vilmont

Adam has a wide range of experience working with children and families. Adam worked as a Behavioral Health Specialist for 8 years with adolescent youth in intensive residential treatment facilities in both Kansas and Iowa; and in community-based settings with families. Adam has developed an increased focused on community and familial influences on child behavior, parental expectations and family dynamics.

As a Masters student, Adam worked on community education and legislative policy advocacy addressing the lifelong effects of severe childhood trauma and mental health needs in our community. Adam also participated in the development of the Scott County Mental Health Court system to create a more empathetic and effective approach to mental health recidivism. Adam currently enjoys working with couples, children and parents.
