Cathleen Clark

Cathy has experience working as a domestic violence counselor and addictions counselor at the bachelor’s level. At the post graduate level she has experience working as a family therapist in a homeless shelter in Chicago, and a therapist for several eastern Iowa organizations.

Cathy entered private practice opening Community Centered Counseling Services in 2007. Her specializations include play therapy, art therapy, sexual abuse treatment, substance abuse issues as well as domestic violence. Services are provided to children, adults, couples and families.

Cathy retired from doing therapy in April of 2023, but continues to enjoy owning and running the agency and providing clinical supervision for the professional development of our therapists.
