David Dowell

David is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) who graduated from St. Ambrose University. David works with individuals of all ages.  He also has experience working with individuals on the Autism spectrum, and those with intellectual disabilities, using an empowerment approach which challenges them to understand and advocate for themselves. David specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and believes that the more we understand ourselves and our world, the more we will be able to help ourselves.
