David Evans
Therapist (LMSW)
David is an artist, musician, writer and Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) with a lifelong enthusiasm for psychology, meditation and philosophy. His first career was in nursing homes where he served as Director of Life Enrichment with a focus on bringing kids and the aged together to create mutually enriching fun, and rewarding relationships. His transition to a second career in mental health was inspired by a deep appreciation for the wisdom of the great psychologists and concern for the mental health of individuals and societies. His approach to therapy centers on unconditional, radical acceptance and empowerment. His practice is guided by the conviction that seeking answers to the deepest questions in life is the surest path to self-compassion and contentment.
David earned a Masters in Gerontology in 2013 and a Masters in Social Work in 2025. During his time studying social work at St. Ambrose University, David provided casework services to people experiencing homelessness and worked as a clinical therapist intern in Moline.
